RPM Featuring the new villian, "Gearhead"
- I give up trying to explain whatever technologies used in this show being realistic or not...too much negativity.
My take on the episode is this: Nice new villian...sorta mediocre as far as the "big Picture" of this Gotham continues to emerge.
Gear's use of nano-tecnologies is cool...he kinda looks like Firefly in the face when not wearing his mask. BTW...wasn't the earlier artist rendering of him different? I don't know...I guess it doesn't matter. The new Batmobile was pretty decent and Batgirl was...Batgirl.
Rate episode, 8/10

I thought it was a good episode as well, I just hated seeing that Batmobile bite the dust, although the new one is pretty good.

"Brawn" wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Batgirl really irritated me in her misguided attempts to use the Batbot when Batman could'nt get to it. However, Joker did have some good dialogue which saved the episode. Others will probably disagree, but Batman appears to be "wimpy" and "weakened" when Batgirl appears in an episode.
- meh. Batgirl just wasn't that cute this time around.
rate episode 6.5/10 or 2 1/2 stars

Ok.
The Matrix...I mean the Plantrix. I see elements were borrowed from BTAS...which is an ok thing. Also, I see they toned down Ivy's powers a bit to more fit her personality...otherwise she was unstoppable. Instead of her powers leaning towards plant magic...it was back to plant science/genetics...which is the way it should be. I liked this episode better than the Ivy 2 parter...I also liked the fact that Batgirl did not outshine The Batman this time around.
Oh yeah...and whats a Batman episode without the Penguin in some way shape or form?
Meh.

Sounds like a decent episode, I have to catch up. I have that one and brawn on tape, just haven't gotten around to watching it.

New season looking good slowly introing the JL. The Superman story was very good even using most of the same voice actors from the old Timm/Dini series.
