I haven't seen (and I don't think I will, as they have yet to bring the series to Israel) the new Batman animated series, but I've heard that it's a bit bleh, and I think the animation is kind of crappy. The Joker looks...well, crap. I don't know... Anyway, the new Batman series was not my reason for posting this reply. My reason was: OMG great sig ratwings. Thanks my good buddy... you should use one of these:

And my 2 Favorite close ups... I hope the costume doesn't change at ALL... that cowl owns all.

UrbanLegend, yeah, there's definitely that Neal Hefti theme going on in the background. It plays a little bit before we see all the villains lined up. Still, I like the Edge's theme better. It fits the show better, IMO. It's darker, more mysterious, yet still cool and fun. I loved it when the guitar played higher notes and the credits went faster.
And OMG, those are awesome sigs, RatWings. Can I use the last Batman closeup for my sig?

Holy crapola, thanks, I've been looking forever for a few good Batman Begins sig pics to put on various message boards where I post. To date, I just have used the empty cowl avatar (which is badass of course, but I would like to put something else out there as well ) I have here as a sig pic...but these are badass, and I'm going to use a few. Thanks a lot man. ;D Btw, Bale does look a badass in those pics

That's wrong in so many ways...
What is that? The Batman 5 comic book adaptation written by Joel Schumacher?

That's all-star Batman and Robin. The story and set-up has been good so far, but Frank Miller's dialouge is pretty horrible.

It's one of his generic Sin City characters as Batman. I have in a way given up on Frank. He wrote 2 great bat stories..well 1 GREAT BATMAN story and a Great Jim Gordon story...and instead of trying to reach his pinnacle and matching those two books...he chicken sh1ts out ALL THE TIME and decides to parody himself by releasing crap like the dequal to DKR and now All-Star Batman and Robin. This series could have been so much better if it was a complete re-start like the Marvel ultimate books, used to adapt to modern times. They blew it... the only think thats keeping me hooked to the story is Jim Lee's amazing artwork..which IMO surpasses his work on HUSH.

"A Dark Knight to Remember"
Ok episode...nothing special...story or actionwise.
I couldn't help cringing when I saw it was another Penguin episode...I feel he is being used too much, even more so than the Joker.
Good grief.
rate 6/10

I think you'd agree with me, that the dialouge with Batmana trying to "scare" Grayson was laying it on a little thick for a Batman comic. I mean, he calls Robin "retarded." We all have our biases against Robin but we can still tell a good Batman-Robin story from a bad or mediocre one, and this take on bringing Robin in to the mix sorta pales in comparison to Robin's origin in Dark Victory.

Now here's a good pic for someone's sig: Is that a horrible attempt at paying homage to the line from B89?

Probably, but so many things are out of place in that scene, it's hard to notice.

I was thinking that it was homage to B&R. You know, dicks, nuts and all...:\ Btw, sorry for asking for this, I know I'm an a-hole, but Ratwings: Any chance you can screencap the Baleman when only the white of his eyes are showing? There are a couple of shots where this is very noticeable. When he lands in front of Ra's, before he starts fighting the 4 ninjas, he looks sideways, to the first ninja he's going to take out. Here you can only see the white of his eyes. And before he flies off to leave Ra's to his fate, he rolls his eyes upwards, again giving off that "lenses" effect. I'm not a "lenses" freak, but I thought Bale looks extremely cool when doing this. Again, sorry, and feel free to say "bollocks, I ain't doing that."
