This thread is basically what it sounds like. Pretend you are the Casting Director for all the sequels following Batman Begins. Below is a list of characters that need to be casted.
Feel free to post more character castings for some if not all (because listing all the posibilities would take forever) as well as pictures of the actor(s).
The Joker Harvey Dent/ Two-Face Catwoman The Penguin Harley Quinn The Riddler Mr. Freeze Black Mask Man-Bat/Dr. Langstrom Poison Ivy

The Joker: Adrien Brody Great actor (better known, however, for playing more reserved, quiet characters) with the perfect look- his height and build is perfect to go up against Bale's Batman. And his face already looks like Joker. He has the perfect laugh (as seen in "The Village") and, most importantly, he can play a psycho (he played one in "Oxygen" Seeing the trailer on videodetective.com was enough to convince me). Best manipulation of him I've found: www.comics2film.com/DCG/DispArt.php3?f_id=16848&f_ssn=&f_fooble=3Harvey Dent/ Two-Face: Rufus Sewell Also a good actor, who can snap and flip his personality like a coin (no pun intended). There's a scene in "Dark City" where he's talking to Kiefer Sutherland and he just explodes in seconds. Plus, he's got that natural look that something's going on in his head. He looks like a nice guy that could turn angry if you push the right buttons. Plus he looks like Tim Sale's Harvey Dent from The Long Halloween; the curly hair, the large eyes, the squarish features and chin. He is approaching his forties, but he looks young enough to pass as a contemporary of Bruce Wayne. The Riddler: Hugh Laurie Better known for his role as Dr. Gregory House on the hit medical show "House." He almost landed the role of Perry White in Superman Returns, but his schedule on the show didn't permit it. He looks closer to Edward Nigma, in my opinion. And he definitely has the acting ability. I simply can't watch "House" and remember that this guy played the idiotic George in the "Blackadder" series. It's like comparing Michael Keaton in Beetlejuice and Desperate Measures. On "House" he's got this biting "I'm smarter than you" attitude and way of talking to people. He could definitely play a BTAS type of Riddler, IMO. Mr. Freeze: Peter Weller Patrick Stewart and Sir Ben Kingsley are very popular choices, but I'd like to see someone younger. Peter Weller was great in RoboCop and could definitely bring out a robotic cold hearted voice for the character and protray the tragedy of the origin.

Basis of selection: 1. looks the part (mostly) 2. could deliver a quality performance 3. could very well be a real choice if an actual movie was cast
Most characters should look the way they're drawn by Jim Lee (see Batman: Hush series)
LOVE INTERESTS FOR BATMAN Silver St. Cloud - Natasha Henstridge
Veronica Vreeland - Angelica Bridges
Talia (bring Ra's back for another movie and introduce his daughter): Monica Bellucci or Catherine Zeta-Jones
SIDEKICKS Robin / Dick Grayson (teenager): Justin Berfield
Batgirl / Barbara Gordon (teenager): Lindsay Lohan?
introduce dick and barbara at the same time, but not have barbara become batgirl until the movie after that one
GOTHAMITES Detective Renee Montoya: Angie Harmon
Detective Harvey Bullock: Brad Garrett (robert on everybody loves raymond)
Commissioner Gillian Loeb (from Y1 book): Steven Hill (adam schiff from Law & order)
Detective Flass (from Y1 book): Ray Liotta
Dr. Jeremiah Arkham: John Hurt (prof. broom in Hellboy) or Christopher Lloyd
Rupert Thorne: Paul Sorvino THE ROGUES GALLERY Joker (with "Killing Joke" origin, not movie origin): Brad Dourif (grima wormtongue in LotR)
Dr. Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn: Maria Bamford or Amanda Peet
Catwoman: Shannyn Sossamon
Harvey Dent / Two-Face: Tim Roth
Poison Ivy: Angie Everhart
Mr. Freeze: Hugo Weaving
Ventriloquist: John Malkovich voice of Scarface: Peter Boyle
The Riddler: Jude Law (see AI: Artificial Intelligence)
The Penguin (flamboyant restauranteur, not Batman Returns style sewer freak): Nathan Lane
Killer Croc: Ron Perlman
Kirk Langstrom: Jeff Goldblum Man-Bat: CGI
Matt Hagen: Stuart Townsend (dorian grey in LXG) Clayface: gradual transition from actor in heavy makeup to CGI monster
Jervis Tech / Mad Hatter: Martin Short

Well to spice this thread up, I'm going to comment on some of the choices.
Joaquin Phoenix as Two-Face I think I could see it. He can definitely play a good bad guy (i.e. Gladiator) and a sympathetic good guy for the pre-Two-Face part (i.e. The Village). My only problem is that he's a bit short; I'd like the villians to be around 6 feet (with the obvious exceptions of Penguin and Mad Hatter) so that Batman doesn't completely tower over them and they seem more like a threat.
The Joker: Lachy Hulme The Riddler/Edward Nygma: Edward Norton I'm really not sure about these. Any specific works that convinced you?
Catwoman/ Selina Kyle: Rosario Dawson I could see it, especially after her role in Sin City. She'd be perfect for the Year One Selina in the Aronofsky script.
The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot: David Suchet Definitely. The man's a fine actor who looks the part. Whether he'd take it or not is another issue, but in terms of looks and activing ability- he's perfect.
Killer Croc: Ron Perlman This could fit perfectly if Perlman didn't mind playing another comic book character and putting on a lot more make-up. Otherwise, take his Hellboy performance, turn him into a bad guy...and he'd be awesome.
Mr. Freeze/ Dr. Victor Fries: Hugo Weaving Poison Ivy/ Pamela Isley: Kate Beckinsale I could see these, although they are not my first choices for their respective roles.
The Monk/ Louis DuBois: Stuart Townsend I'm curious when The Monk's true I.D. came out. Is this the vampire one from Detective Comics #33? That would be interesting, but I'm not sure if the character would be considered to appear as the villian in a major Batman film.
Poison Ivy: Angie Everhart Unfortunately I think she's too old for the current Batman, but I think she would've worked well. She a very sexy, naturally redheaded actress that I think could've been perfect as the seductress of the Batman universe.

That's for the comments Shadow. (I'm a huge Shadow fan too btw, that was my costume for halloween this year).
I agree with your selections for Two-Face and Penguin. But I stand by my choice of Angie Everhart for Poison Ivy. I don't think she's too old. I think she's got the natural sensuality necessary for a Poison Ivy (plus she's a natural redhead, which Uma Thurman, as beautiful as she is, was not).

Meh, I don't think Uma Thurman is that good looking. She is kinda overrated in that regard.

Unfortunately...nobody knew who I was except those who I told beforehand who I'd be. As for selection for Two-Face...are u referring to Rufus Sewell? And yeah...definitely David Suchet as Penguin. Either that or Bob Hoskins. As for the "too old" comment, I basically meant in comparison to Bale. (*looks up ages*) Bale is 31 and she is 36. Never mind, I think that could actually work. I thought she was older for some very extremely strange reason. Anyways...ANGIE FOR POISON IVY!

Rufus Sewell, OR Joaquin Phoenix for Harvey Dent. They kinda look alike. Either one could pull off Harvey, especially the stressed-out, over-the-edge Harvey from Long Halloween that becomes the deranged Two-Face
I think David Suchet looks more like Penguin than Bob Hoskins. And I originally chose Nathan Lane because I want to see a flamboyant Penguin, like the version The New Adventures and Mystery of the Batwoman, where he wears a tuxedo with coat-tails and runs the Iceberg Lounge.
